SAP FICO Senior Consultant/Solution Architect

Experience: 10+ years

Location: Balewadi, Pune (MH)

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP FICO – General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, Inter-company Accounting, Project Systems, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing, Material Ledger, Profitability Analysis, Results Analysis, Month End Close, Overhead assessment/settlement and Interfaces to External Systems.
  • Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements.
  • Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements and map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs.

  • Design, customize, configure and testing of FI/CO sub modules by identifying gaps, issues and work around solutions.
  • Connect with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problems.
  • Document functional designs, test cases and results by proactively identifying and proposing business process and/or system enhancements.
  • Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects.
  • Connect between the business functional team and the technical team by providing training and user support as required.
    • Accounting background & working with C-suite is required.
  • Work self-directed & independently act as subject matter mentor to other junior team members.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 8 years of FICO experience with 2-3 full life cycle implementation as well as support projects. Must have at least one S/4HANA greenfield implementation experience.
  • Experience in designing and configuring FICO sub modules with also experience in integration with other SAP modules like MM, WM, SD, CS, PP, PM, and QM.
  • Experience in S/4HANA Finance implementation along with migration/upgradation projects.
  • Experience in Funds Management, Business Process Consolidation, Revenue Recognition, FICA, Closing Cockpit, FSCM, Treasury and Risk Management and Investment Management.
  • Experience in accounting standards IAS/IFRS, Credit Management and Cash Management (liquidity forecast, cash position, electronic bank statement, lockbox and payments).
  • Experience in areas of Project Systems, Project Structuring, Project Coding. WBS elements, Milestones, Result Analysis for Projects and Project Reporting, CATS.
  • S/4HANA Certification Experience on S/4 Public Cloud is an added advantage.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
  • Understanding of accounting processes with ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective.
  • Ability to work in a team environment by effectively interacting with other team members.
  • Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a positive attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.
