Key Accountabilities:
- Facilitate the implementation and support of SAP PS Module
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements and provide appropriate system solutions; identify, interpret, validate and document customer requirements
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements
- Map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develops necessary product modifications to satisfy clients’ needs
- Design, customize, configure and testing of PS
- Identify gaps, issues and work around solutions
- Act as liaison with client for troubleshooting: investigate, analyse, and solve software problems
- Handle changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues
- Document functional designs, test cases and results
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements
- Provide consulting services on both new implementations and existing support projects
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team
- Provide ad-hoc training and user support as required
- Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to more junior members
Knowledge/Skills Required:
- Good understanding of business processes pertaining to Projects as part of domain knowledge
- Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA from SAP PS module perspective
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in a full cycle implementation as well as in support projects mainly into designing and configuring PS / PPM module
- Has experience of working in Projects where Assembly manufacturing, engineer-to-order manufacturing, Installation, Commissioning and project-specific procurement is performed
- Has experience of working in projects where services are delivered on site and as well as from back office
- Thorough knowledge on respective components like Project profile, categorization, WBS , Easy cost planning , project cost sheets, Networks, activity types and rates, Integrated Sales order processing and Billing , Project stock management
- Experience of performing enhancements related to projects will be added advantage
- Knowledge of Portfolio management and resource integration will be added advantage
- Cross Functional experience with FICO, MM, QM, PP, SD, etc.
- Well versed to use FIORI Transactional and Analytical Apps
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time
- Understanding of accounting business processes
- Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective
- Ability to work in a team environment, effectively interacting with others
- Must be results oriented, and demonstrate a Can-do attitude – adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
- Ability to communicate effectively with domestic and international client
- SAP S/4 HANA Certification in PS or manufacturing is preferred
- Knowledge of EAM is an added advantage
- SAP PM, DMS Knowledge is an added advantage
- Knowledge of third-party tool interface is an added advantage
- Understanding of Incident, Problem and Change Management processes
